The contact owns a 2024 Forest River Cherokee RV. The contact stated while the RV was parked, the contact discovered water leaking from the bottom of the RV. No warning lights were illuminated. The RV was taken to a dealer; however, the cause of the failure was undetermined. The RV was taken back to the residence and the contact self-diagnosed the RV and discovered that the main waterline needed to be replaced. The RV was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
After a camping trip through the mountains of Wyoming, I discovered my campers trailer brakes were not working. I found the u-bolts that hold the axles to the leaf springs had contacted the frame of the trailer and cut the electric trailer brake wires in half making the trailer brakes inoperable. The leaf springs on this trailer are too weak and don't provide adequate clearance from the frame.
The contact owns a 2024 Forest River Cherokee Wolf Pup RV. The contact stated that while at the dealer purchasing the trailer, the trailer was hitched to a [address removed] however, the brakes failed to stop the RV. The contact stated that four other 2024 Forest River Wolf Pup RVs were hitched to the 2018 Toyota Tundra and experienced the same failure. The trailer was diagnosed at the dealer with brake failure; however, the trailer was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
