Overhead Cabinets above the driver and passenger seats above the front windshield have dropped down and bounces as we drive down the highway. Yes, it is available for inspection, I also have pictures. This started in 2019, the left side of the cabinets coming loose. We have tried unsuccessfully to fix the problem ourselves. After much research on the internet, I see where there was a RECALL 23v-121 & 2023-095 for Thor MC 2018-2021 Hurricane & Windsport. TMC recall # is RC000290. The contact owns a 2017 Thor Motor Coach Tuscany 45AT built on a 2017 Freightliner XC-R Chassis. The contact stated that while driving 50 MPH, two of the passenger's side windows detached and started flapping against the RV wall. The contact veered to the side of the road, and duct taped the windows to the side of the RV. The contact drove to the Camping lot; however, while the RV was parked, he heard an abnormal sound. FLOORS IN BOTTOM STORAGE BAYS ARE SAGGING AND BOWING ARE AT RISK OF FAILING OUT ON HIGH WAY. NEED TO BE REPLACED WITH BETTER MATERIAL .
WHILE STATIONARY AND ENGINE COOL, I STARTED THE MOTOR COACH AND WHEN I STEPPED OUTSIDE I NOTICED THE SMELL OF DIESEL FUEL. UPON INVESTIGATION, IT WAS REVEALED THAT FLEETGUARD FUEL FILTER (RESIN CONSTRUCTION) MODEL FF63009 HAD A HAIR LINE CRACK IN THE SIDE OF THE HOUSING. A FINE SPRAY OF RAW FUEL WAS SPRAYING DIRECTLY ONTO THE DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER (DPF). THE DPF WHEN IN REGENERATION MODE CAN REACH TEMPERATURES OF UP TO 500 DEGREE F. FORTUNATELY, THE EXHAUST SYSTEM WAS COLD AT START UP, BUT HAD IT BEEN IN RUNNING FOR A WHILE AND WENT INTO IN REGENERATION MODE, A FIRE COULD HAVE RESULTED …
