The side wall became separated from the frame. There is a now cracks on the side wall and the interior has came apart. When hooking up the camper to the truck there is flex’s in the frame and potential for water intuition.
This 5th wheel RV has a damaged chassis such as broken structural welds and bent or twisted and/or cracked frame members. Most damage is in the pin box area and includes the structural members that support the house. Damage extends rearward to the structure that connects the pin box frame to the main frame of the trailer.. I have had this damage assessed at an RV repair shop. Their conclusion is that "the only thing holding it all together is the plywood interior floor." It is therefore no longer safe to tow this trailer on the road. It has not been inspected by insurer nor manufacturer. It …
MY 2018, KEYSTONE MONTANA HIGH COUNTRY 385BR HAD LESS THAN 3000 MILES WHEN THE LEFT FRONT TIRE HAD SEPARATION EXPOSING THE STEEL BELT. THE TIRES WERE RAINER TIRES F RATED FOR A UNIT WITH A GVWR OF 16K LBS. I ONLY CARRY 800 POUNDS OF CARGO IN THE UNIT. I REPLACED THE TIRES WITH G RATED TIRES, AND HAD THE ALIGNMENT CHECKED. I DISCOVERED THAT THE FRONT AXLE HANGERS INSTALLED BY LIPPERT WERE OUT OF ALIGNMENT ALONG WITH THE FRONT AXLE MADE BY DEXTER TOED IN. THE REAR AXLE ALSO TRACKS TO THE RIGHT. AT THIS POINT LIPPERT HAS REPLACED THE AXLE HANGERS, AND WE ARE WAITING ON A NEW FRONT AXLE. HOWEVER, …

WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH, THE RV SLIDE OUT WAS SLIDING OUT FROM THE BOTTOM, THE SIDE PANEL WAS DETACHING, AND THE WHEEL WELL STARTED TO BEND, FLAP, AND DETACH DUE TO ONE SCREW POPPING OUT.
