The leveling system failed under load including bent frame brackets. The system is under engineered for the load weight of the vehicle. I have pictures of previous year leveler design and it is clear that the redesign is not sufficient to safely level the vehicle
The contact owns a 2023 Forest River Salem Travel Trailer. The contact stated that while hauling the trailer, the trailer was veering to the driver’s side. The contact also noticed that the tread on the tires were uneven, as if the trailer was leaning to one side more than the other. The contact took the RV to the dealer and was informed that the axle on the RV was not the correct axle. The contact stated that the spacing between the wheels were also not correct.
