Issue:
On a small number of RV trailers, the trailer hitch coupler could fail.
Note: This recall only affects RV trailers equipped with a Pacific Rim 6350 kg (14,000 lb.) coupler.
Safety Risk:
A hitch coupler that fails could cause the trailer to detach from the tow vehicle and increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the trailer hitch coupler.

Sur un petit nombre de caravanes, le coupleur de remorque pourrait faire défaut.
Remarque : Ce rappel concerne seulement les caravanes équipées d'un coupleur Pacific Rim ayant une capacité de 6 350 kg (14 000 lb).
Risques pour la sécurité :
Un coupleur de remorque qui fait défaut pourrait entraîner la séparation de la caravane du véhicule remorqueur et augmenter les risques d'accident.
Mesures correctives :
Forest River doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur caravane chez un concessionnaire pour faire inspecter et, au besoin, remplacer le coupleur de remorque.
