Notice (English)
Issue:
On a small number of RV trailers, the cover for the 120 V electrical outlet in the front passthrough utility panel may not have been installed correctly. As a result, the wiring could be damaged and cause a short circuit and/or electrical arcing (sparks).
Safety Risk:
A short circuit and/or electrical arcing could create the risk of electrocution and/or fire.
Corrective Actions:
Grand Design RV will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, repair the wiring.

Problème :
Sur un petit nombre de caravanes, le couvercle de la prise électrique de 120 V situé dans le panneau de service avant pourrait ne pas avoir été installé correctement. Par conséquent, l'isolation du câblage pourrait être endommagée et provoquer un court-circuit et/ou un arc électrique (étincelles).
Risques pour la sécurité :
Un court-circuit et un arc électrique pourraient entraîner un risque d'électrocution et/ou d'incendie.
Mesures correctives :
Grand Design RV doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur caravane chez un concessionnaire pour faire inspecter et, au besoin, réparer le câblage.
