Transport Canada recall 2025107

Issue: On certain motorhomes, the exhaust tip may not have been properly attached and could separate. If this happens, exhaust fumes and carbon monoxide could enter the motorhome. Note: This recall only affects certain motorhomes built on Ford chassis. Safety Risk: A buildup of exhaust gas in the motorhome could increase the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. Additionally, an exhaust tip that detaches from the motorhome could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: REV Group will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to install a clamp to secure the exhaust tip.

Problème : Sur certaines autocaravanes, l'embout d'échappement pourrait ne pas avoir été correctement fixé et pourrait se séparer. Si cela se produisait, des gaz d'échappement et du monoxyde de carbone pourraient pénétrer dans l'autocaravane. Remarque : Le présent rappel ne vise que certaines autocaravanes construites sur un châssis Ford. Risques pour la sécurité : Une accumulation de gaz d'échappement dans l'autocaravane pourrait augmenter le risque d'empoisonnement au monoxyde de carbone. De plus, un essieu qui se détache d'une autocaravane pourrait créer un danger pour les autres usagers de la route et augmenter le risque d'accident. Mesures correctives : REV Group doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur autocaravane chez un concessionnaire pour faire installer une attache afin de fixer l'embout d'échappement.
