Notice (English)
Issue:
On a small number of motorhomes, the battery cables may not be the correct size, may not have been installed and/or tightened properly. As a result, the cables could overheat and/or short circuit.
Safety Risk:
A cable that overheats and/or short circuits can create a fire risk.
Corrective Actions:
Jayco will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, repair or replace the battery cables.

Sur un petit nombre d'autocaravanes, les câbles de la batterie pourraient ne pas être de la bonne grosseur et ne pas avoir été installés et/ou serrés correctement. Par conséquent, les câbles pourraient surchauffer et/ou subir un court-circuit.
Risques pour la sécurité :
Un câble qui surchauffe et/ou qui subit un court-circuit peut créer un risque d'incendie.
Mesures correctives :
Jayco doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur autocaravane chez un concessionnaire pour faire inspecter et, au besoin, remplacer les câbles de la batterie.
