Notice (English)
Issue:
On certain motorhomes, a problem with the steering gear could cause pressure to build within the system. If this happens, there could be a loss of power steering assist.
Safety Risk:
A loss of power steering assist can cause a sudden increase in steering effort and create the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Jayco will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to an authorized Shyft Group repair facility to replace the steering gear.

Sur certaines autocaravanes, un problème avec le boîtier de direction pourrait entraîner une augmentation de la pression dans le système. Si cela se produisait, il pourrait y avoir une perte de l'assistance à la direction.
Risque pour la sécurité :
Une perte de l'assistance à la direction pourrait augmenter de façon soudaine l'effort à exercer sur le volant et augmenter les risques d'accident.
Mesures correctives :
Jayco doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur autocaravane dans un centre de réparation autorisé de Shyft Group pour faire remplacer le boîtier de direction.
