Notice (English)
Issue:
On certain RV trailers, the power wire for the 12 V refrigerator may not have proper circuit protection. As a result, the wire could overheat and melt.
Safety Risk:
Wiring that does not have proper circuit protection could create a fire risk.
Corrective Actions:
Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to install a 20-A mini-breaker on the power wire for the 12 V refrigerator.

Sur certaines caravanes, le câble d'alimentation de 12 volts du réfrigérateur pourrait ne pas être adéquatement protégé. Par conséquent, le câble pourrait surchauffer et fondre.

Un faisceau de câbles qui n'est pas protégé adéquatement pourrait créer un risque d'incendie.
Mesures correctives :
Forest River doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur caravane chez un concessionnaire pour faire installer un mini-disjoncteur de 20 ampères sur le câble d'alimentation de 12 volts du réfrigérateur.
