This recall was replaced by Transport Canada Recall No. 2024-008.
Issue:
On certain motorhomes, the retractable awning could extend on its own while driving.
Safety Risk:
An awning that extends while driving could create a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Winnebago will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development. Winnebago recommends that you should inspect the awning to ensure it's in the fully retracted position before driving. You should also check it periodically throughout your trip.

Winnebago doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste. Les mesures correctives liées au présent rappel sont en cours d'élaboration. Winnebago recommande aux propriétaires de vérifier si l'auvent est complètement rétracté avant la conduite, ainsi que périodiquement en cours de route.
