Issue: On certain RV trailers, the patio awning may not be properly installed. As a result, the awning could detach and fall from the trailer. Safety Risk: An awning that falls from the trailer could create a risk of injury. An awning that falls from a moving vehicle could create road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealer to inspect, and if necessary, properly attach the awning to the trailer.

Problème : Sur certaines caravanes, l'auvent de patio pourrait ne pas avoir été installé correctement. Par conséquent, il pourrait se détacher et tomber de la caravane. Risques pour la sécurité : Un auvent qui tombe de la caravane pourrait créer un risque de blessure. Un auvent qui tombe d'un véhicule en mouvement pourrait créer un danger routier pour les autres usagers de la route et augmenter les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : Forest River doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur caravane chez un concessionnaire pour faire inspecter l'auvent et, au besoin, le faire fixer correctement à la caravane.
