Notice (English)
Issue:
On certain motorhomes, a wire harness in the rear of the vehicle could be damaged by contact with the vehicle frame. If this happens, the engine could stall and you may not be able to restart it. This can also cause the antilock brake system (ABS) not to work properly and the roll stability control (RSC) to turn off.
Note: This problem may cause the check engine light and/or ABS and traction control warning lights to turn on.
Safety Risk:
A sudden loss of engine power could create the risk of a crash. Additionally, a loss of ABS and/or RSC could also increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Ford will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a Ford or Lincoln dealer to inspect the wire harness for damage. The dealer will apply protective tape over the area and ensure the harness is not touching nearby parts. Any damaged wires will be replaced.

Dans certains autocaravanes, un faisceau de câbles à l'arrière du véhicule pourrait être endommagé au contact du châssis du véhicule. Si cela se produisait, le moteur pourrait caler, et il pourrait être impossible de le redémarrer. Cela pourrait également entraîner un mauvais fonctionnement du système de freinage antiblocage (ABS) et la désactivation du contrôle de stabilité en roulis (RSC).

Mesures correctives :
Ford doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur autocaravane chez un concessionnaire Ford ou Lincoln pour faire inspecter le faisceau de câbles et s'assurer qu'il n'est pas endommagé. Le concessionnaire appliquera un ruban de protection sur le faisceau et s'assurera qu'il ne touche pas aux pièces adjacentes. Tout fil endommagé sera remplacé.
