Notice (English)
Issue:
On certain travel trailers, the emergency trailer breakaway switch may not work properly when the pin is pulled. If the trailer separates from a tow vehicle, the trailer brakes would not self-apply.
Safety Risk:
If the trailer breakaway switch does not work properly, there could be an increased risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their travel trailer to a dealer to replace the breakaway switch.

Sur certaines caravanes classiques, l'interrupteur de débranchement rapide de secours pourrait ne pas fonctionner correctement lorsque la goupille est retirée. Si la caravane se détache du véhicule tracteur, ses freins ne se serreront pas automatiquement.

Si l'interrupteur de débranchement rapide de secours de la caravane ne fonctionne pas correctement, il pourrait y avoir un risque accru de collision.
Mesures correctives :
Forest River doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'apporter leur caravane classique chez un concessionnaire pour faire remplacer l'interrupteur.
