Notice (English)
On certain travel trailers, the break-away safety switch may not have constant power and could be disconnected from the trailer house battery when switching off the battery disconnect. If this occurs, the brakes of the tow vehicle would not engage in the event of a trailer disconnect, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install a new wiring harness for the break-away safety switch.

Sur certaines caravanes classiques, l'interrupteur de sécurité pourrait ne pas être sous tension constamment et pourrait être débranché de la batterie de maison de la caravane lors de la mise hors-service du dispositif de débranchement de batterie. Si cela se produisait, les freins du véhicule tracteur ne se serreraient pas en cas d'un détachement de la caravane, ce qui pourrait augmenter les risques d'un accident blessant quelqu'un ou endommageant des biens matériels. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront poser un nouveau faisceau de câbles pour l'interrupteur de sécurité.
