On certain motorhomes, an opening in the wall of the compartment that houses the keyless entry module could allow for moisture to enter the compartment. If moisture were to enter through the opening, it could contaminate the keyless entry module, potentially causing an electrical short, which could result in the wiring to melt, smoke, or lead to a fire, increasing the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will seal the opening in the compartment wall with expanding spray foam.

Dans certaines autocaravanes, une ouverture dans la paroi du compartiment qui contient le module d'entrée sans clé pourrait permettre l'infiltration d'humidité dans le compartiment. Si de l'humidité s'infiltre dans l'ouverture, elle pourrait contaminer le module d'entrée sans clé, ce qui pourrait provoquer un court-circuit. Par conséquent, le câblage pourrait fondre, de la fumée pourrait être produite ou un feu pourrait être déclenché, ce qui augmenterait les risques de blessures ou de dommages matériels (ou les deux). Mesure corrective : Les concessionnaires devront sceller l'ouverture dans la paroi du compartiment à l'aide de mousse vaporisée expansive.
