Notice (English)
Certain motorhomes may fail to conform to Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 210 – Seat Belt Anchorages. During production, the floor that was installed did not have the proper reinforcement brackets and plates, and as a result, the seat belt anchorages located in the slide out of the motorhome fail to meet the attachment strength requirements of the standard. This could result in seat belts detaching from the vehicle in a crash, thereby failing to properly restrain occupants and would increase the risk of injury. Correction: Dealers will install the required reinforcement brackets and plates to insure the seat belt attachments meet the strength requirements of the CMVSS 210 standard.

Certaines autocaravanes pourraient ne pas être conformes à la norme 210 (ancrages de ceinture de sécurité) du Règlement sur la sécurité des véhicules. En cours de production, le plancher installé pourrait ne pas avoir été doté de supports et de plaques de renforcement adéquats. Cela pourrait rendre les ancrages de ceinture de sécurité du prolongement coulissant non conformes en entraînant un détachement des ceintures et en accroissant ainsi les risques de blessure des occupants en cas de collision. Correction : les détaillants doivent installer des supports et des plaques de renforcement qui rendent les fixations de ceintures de sécurité conformes aux exigences de résistance de la norme susmentionnée.
