Notice (English)
Certain motorhomes built on Ford F-53 and F-59 chassis may have been built with an incorrect shift cable bracket. This could allow the transmission to be shifted into reverse without the brakes being applied, which could increase the risk of unintended vehicle movement, potentially resulting in a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Ford authorized service centers will replace and adjust the shift cable bracket.

Certaines autocaravanes construites sur des châssis Ford F-53 et F-59 pourraient avoir été construites avec un support de câble de changement de rapport incorrect. Cela pourrait permettre de faire passer la boîte de vitesses à la position de marche arrière sans avoir à enfoncer la pédale de frein, ce qui pourrait augmenter les risques de déplacement imprévu du véhicule. Cela pourrait causer un accident pouvant entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels (ou les deux). Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer et régler le support de câble de changement de rapport.
